We are nearly at 4,000 Research Grade observations now - what progress! Our aim here is to share wild flowering plant observations with the scientific community through GBIF.org (the Global Biodiversity Information Facility), where they are brought together with other location records from databases around the world. All our licensed, research-grade observations are also indexed by GBIF, where you can search and download them using their tools. Scientists and taxonomic experts can provide enormous value to the iNaturalist community by helping to identify observations.
